Twin 24-storey towers proposed for Belconnen Town Centre
A new DA would reshape the Emu Bank skyline and add 412 apartments above ground-floor retail.

A development application lodged this week proposes two 24-storey residential towers on the Emu Bank waterfront, replacing a low-rise commercial block opposite Lake Ginninderra College.
The proposal includes 412 apartments, 1,800 square metres of ground-floor retail, and a publicly accessible foreshore promenade. Submissions close 14 July.
Belconnen Community Council chair Lin Park said the group supported density near transport but wanted firmer commitments on the promised community space.
