What's On Canberra is an independent, free guide to events, gigs and things to do across the ACT. We cover Civic, Belconnen, Tuggeranong, Gungahlin, Woden, Weston Creek and Molonglo, plus everything happening on the lake and beyond.

We list music, arts, food and drink, markets, family days, sport and community events. If it's worth getting off the couch for, we want it on the site.

Everything is free to read and always will be. No paywall, no pop-ups, no autoplay video. Just a clean list of what's happening this week, this weekend and beyond.

How we choose what to list

We list events submitted by venues, promoters and the public, plus events our editors spot around town. Every submission is reviewed before it goes live. We try to favour events that are open to everyone, with clear date, time, venue and price.
