Transport Canberra has released its draft Woden bus network for community consultation, and the headline change is a 10-minute frequency spine running Yamba Drive between Woden Interchange and Phillip.

Curtin loses its direct express to Civic under the proposal. Riders would change at Woden, adding around six minutes to the typical commute, but freeing up a bus every nine minutes through Garran and the Canberra Hospital precinct.

Lyons gains an evening service for the first time since 2019, running until 11pm Thursday to Saturday.

Submissions close 28 July. Transport Canberra will run drop-in sessions at Woden Library on 5 and 12 July.
